Plumas Avenue Elementary School is expanding to include a new ELOP (expanded learning opportunities program) afterschool/community facility. This project will include six new modular classrooms for afterschool and independent study, a multi-purpose space with a warming kitchen that can open to the exterior courtyard, as well as outdoor basketball and pickleball courts. An administration building is being built to accommodate the faculty, its programs and board meetings. New sidewalks connect the existing Plumas Avenue Elementary School to this new facility, in addition to a new parking lot and bus stop.
