Take a peek inside the new Plumas Avenue Elementary School Expanded Learning Center for Thermalito Union Elementary School District! This thoughtfully designed 5,800 SF facility brings a range of educational and enrichment spaces together to support students, staff and the greater school community. The facility includes six new modular classrooms dedicated to afterschool programming and independent study, along with an administration building that provides room for faculty collaboration, program coordination and board meetings.
A spacious multi-purpose room, complete with a warming kitchen, opens directly to an exterior courtyard, creating a flexible indoor-outdoor environment for gatherings, activities and events. Beyond the buildings, the project introduces new basketball and pickleball courts and strengthens community connectivity with a pathway linking the campus to the neighboring park and walking trail.
Accents of blue and yellow represent trust, loyalty, confidence and intelligence, values that support the school’s mission and identity.
