Studio W Architects was selected by the Lake County Tribal Health Consortium, Inc. to compete their Facilities Master Plan. This multi-phase initiative provided a comprehensive analysis of all regional LCTHC services and locations with the focus to develop an expanded healthcare and commercial campus in Lakeport, California. Master planning services included operational assessments to forecast future services, as well as identifying space and infrastructure needs, all to culminate in a thoughtful design concept that will promote the organization’s growth and enhance the City of Lakeport.
Phase 1 of the Facilities Master Plan Implementation includes the construction of a new pediatric and women’s health services building, landscaping improvements throughout the site and the renovation of an existing building to accommodate physical therapy offices and a new facilities hub. Additionally, the project features a pedestrian footbridge over Forbes Creek, providing a direct connection between the existing campus and the new facilities.
Phases 2 and 3 will further expand the campus through the development of a medical specialty and vision center, childcare center, medical/dental office replacement, pharmacy expansion and remodels of the public health and outreach, behavioral health, health club, and pain and wellness facilities. Collectively, these improvements will revitalize the current facilities while advancing the growth of the overall campus, creating a renewed and integrated environment for care.
This development marks a significant step in Lake County Tribal Health Consortium’s mission to promote a positive change in the physical, spiritual, emotional and social health of the communities they serve. The new campus will also include future opportunities for retail and restaurant spaces, creating a true mixed-use environment that supports both healthcare and community vitality.
