The Little Chico Creek Elementary School Expansion comprises three new TK/Kindergarten classrooms, complete with their own playground and shade structure, enhancing early education opportunities. An expanded parking lot and drop-off area for the new classrooms will improve safety and security for the young students.
Two existing buildings will also be remodeled, modernizing and enlarging the administration building and classroom building. The administration building was reconfigured to provide a single point of entry to the campus, allowing the lobby and attendance desks to be on the street side of campus and moving the principal and vice principal offices to overlook the central quad. The reconfiguration also provides additional spaces for intervention and small groups.
