San Jose & Sacramento, CA—Studio W Architects is excited to announce manager level promotions in our San Jose and Sacramento Studios. Oscar Bedolla, AIA, was promoted to the position of project manager. His responsibilities in this new role entail managing and coordinating all aspects of a project to ensure effective execution, including preparing project workplans, budgets, schedules and quality initiatives. Megan Garon, ACA ID, has been elevated to Marketing Manager and will oversee the firm’s project pursuits and graphics standards.
With 10 years of experience, Oscar has dedicated the majority of his architectural career to K-12 educational facilities at Studio W Architects. He is currently overseeing construction of Serendipity School in Belmont, CA, the Lipman Middle School Modernization for Brisbane School District and the $16 million Cañada College Building 13 Instructional Center Remodel for San Mateo County Community College District. Additional signature projects in Oscar’s background include The Bayshore School, Santa Teresa High School Learning Center and multipurpose building additions at Fuller Elementary School and Wilson Middle School for Chowchilla Elementary School District. Oscar is a California registered architect and earned a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Megan has been with the firm since 2017 and brings 13 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. As Marketing Manager, she is responsible for establishing and implementing firm-wide branding, marketing and graphics initiatives. This includes leading the project pursuit process related to Studio W’s K-12 education, higher education, civic, commercial and retail markets. Most recently, Megan was involved with the corporate rebrand and implementation in 2021 and was the designer of the mural at Studio W’s Sacramento office. Megan is a Certified Associate in Print & Digital Publication Using Adobe InDesign (ACA ID).
