Santa Teresa High School, in the southern part of San Jose, comprises one of the largest and most prestigious high schools in the region. The new 9,650 SF learning center will provide social and emotional spaces along with an educational resource to students. The building will serve as a beacon in the center of campus and host a learning resource center, counseling and tech support offices and two classrooms for digital art or science programs. Additionally, the project modernizes the existing 800 Wing, which was originally built for vocational programs, that includes a home for forensic and physical sciences as well as a large “makers space” to support student collaboration and curiosity.
