San Jose, CA: Santa Teresa High School, one of the largest and most prestigious high schools in the San Jose region, is receiving a new signature building and modernization to one of its other facilities to accommodate science, maker and learning resource spaces. The new 9,500 SF Learning Center will be a state-of-the-art environment with both social and educational spaces for students. It features a learning resource center, café, counseling and break out rooms with the addition of three studio classrooms. Additionally, the 800 Wing on campus is being modernized to transform underutilized space to science classrooms and will include a 3,500 SF maker’s space that supports student collaboration and curiosity. The project was recently approved by the site council and will be entering design development and documentation for construction in 2021.
