Studio W Architects partnered with Folsom Cordova Unified School District to develop a Facility Improvement Plan for four campuses: Cordova Villa Elementary School, Navigator Elementary School, Riverview STEM Academy and White Rock Elementary School. The plans were created to thoughtfully accommodate future growth while advancing the District’s vision of next generation learning environments.
At Cordova Villa Elementary School, a complete replacement of the administration and classroom building, along with expanded parking and drop-off areas, will transform the street presence of the school and provide a clear, secure entry point for students and visitors. Additional improvements include the replacement of an existing classroom building, interior classroom modernizations and the introduction of a central courtyard with seating to encourage outdoor learning and social interaction. Campus enhancements also include new shade structures, updated playground equipment and site improvements that together create a vibrant and future-focused environment for students, staff and the community.
