The renovation of Paradise Ridge Elementary School is the first project to be completed in Paradise Unified School District’s rebuilding program following the devastating Camp Fire in 2018. Unlike some of the other sites in the District, this campus was not completely compromised in the fire, allowing the Studio W team to improve the school with a new multi-use building and modernize the existing classrooms.

The project included the construction of a new administration and multipurpose building with associated site work. The new building redefines the pedestrian entrance for the elementary school with a new student drop-off/pick-up area that includes new entry gates and an expanded entry plaza. To reinforce school spirit and identity, banners are prominently displayed at the front of the building with Paradise Ridge Elementary School’s four core values. The multipurpose area includes an indoor/outdoor platform for student performances, assemblies and community events.
