Studio W Architects worked with Lake Tahoe USD to develop their District-wide Facilities Master Plan and facilities conditions assessments. Our efforts included refining the District’s facility needs through site inspections, analysis of existing studies, implementation of best practices and interviews/meetings with the Facilities Advisory Committee (comprised of community leaders, parents and district staff).

Priorities identified include: code, health and safety improvements; provide access to educational and technological tools to compete in a modern, global economy; meet district sustainability goals by 2045; facility and program equity district-wide; replace non-permanent facilities with permanent buildings; develop athletics and outdoor programs; improve curb appeal district-wide; meet maintenance and operational criteria; and qualify for State matching funds.

This Facilities Master Plan was developed in preparation for a potential November 2022 bond.
