The Phase 1 modernization of North Tahoe Junior/Senior High School includs the replacement of the campus’ failing exterior skin, which encompasses a complete replacement of the portland cement plaster finishes, addition of exterior insulation and replacement of External Insulation & Finish System (EIFS) campus-wide. The project also provided accessibility upgrades to the campus, providing accessible lifts for the gymnasium, classrooms and locker rooms. Finally, improvements to the existing cafeteria have created a more inviting gathering space for the students with new finishes and acoustic treatments.

Phase 2 of this campus modernization will replace the aging bleachers that exist at the school’s stadium. In order to maintain the project budget, the remodels to the existing field building, housing storage, restrooms and team rooms were minimal, with most of the budget reserved for the design of the bleachers and press box around the existing building. Audio visual infrastructure within the new press box and stadium site work are also included within the modernization scope.
