South Lake Tahoe, CA—Studio W Architects has been working with Lake Tahoe Unified School District since July 2021 on their Facilities Master Plan, including conducting conditions assessments of all sites and working directly with their staff and community. The completed Facilities Master Plan was adopted by their Board of Education in March, officially establishing multiple facilities needs across their campuses—from safety and security upgrades to academic and sustainability improvements. Last week, the Board of Education passed a resolution to place a local general obligation bond for $107 million on the November 2022 ballot to address health and safety improvements and improved classroom environments. We look forward to supporting Lake Tahoe USD in pursuit of much needed funding through this upcoming election cycle.
