Winters Joint Unified School District recently celebrated the completion of the Waggoner Elementary School TK/Kindergarten Expansion project with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Studio W Architects joined Van Pelt Construction Services and Landmark Construction in celebrating alongside staff, students and members of the Winters community.
This event provided an opportunity to see the lasting impact these improvements will have on both current and future generations of students. Hearing from teachers, the principal and District staff about how eager they are to begin using the new spaces made the celebration even more meaningful.
The project includes a new four-classroom TK/Kindergarten modular building designed specifically for early learners. The project features a dedicated play area enclosed by fencing to create a protected environment for students. Renovations also include upgrades to the parking lot and parent pick-up/drop-off area, improving both safety and circulation for families.
We are grateful to the District for the opportunity to help bring their vision to life and are proud to see these new spaces ready to serve the Winters community.
