Paradise, CA: With unanimous support, BCA Architects’ revised Facilities Master Plan for Paradise Unified School District was approved at last night’s Board of Trustees meeting. Originally completed in 2018 to support and promote their Measure Y Bond Program, the master plan was reconfigured based on the District’s new reality of post-Camp Fire conditions. The District and members of the Board of Trustees are to be commended for continuing to push forward and rebuild their treasured community.
Several small projects have already been completed and design of a new Maintenance & Operations facility is in progress. The first major projects will begin April 29th, including New Ridgeview (Continuation) High School Campus, Ponderosa Elementary School New Multipurpose & Administration Facility, Paradise High School Gymnasium & Library Modernization, New Classroom Facility at Paradise High School and New CTE Facility at Paradise High School. These projects total $37 million in construction value and are planned to be completed by August of 2023.
