Santa Ana, CA—The new Santa Ana campus for Scholarship PREP Public Schools is complete! This campus is located on a large arterial street less than a mile from their flagship campus, and includes a main classroom building, outdoor learning areas, covered lunch shelter and play yard space. With efficiency being a key consideration, the play yard was designed as a dual-use area that serves a double function as a drop-off area for students. The design of the school exhibits an urban setting by connecting the facades of the main building and lunch shelter with materials such as perforated metal, cementitious and metal panels and traditional smooth plaster.
This new campus is Scholarship PREP’s first ground-up project and extends their educational offerings to include TK through 3rd grade students, while their original campus serves grades 4 through 8. Studio W enjoyed our partnership with Red Hook Capital Partners and Blackwell Construction on the development of this new facility for the youth of Orange County.
