Shasta Lake School, a TK through eighth grade campus within Gateway Unified School District, is receiving a new administration and classroom building designed to better support students, staff and the school community. Studio W Architects is partnering with the District to create a welcoming, functional campus entry while expanding both administrative and classroom spaces.
The two-story, 16,000 square foot building will feature administrative offices, flexible waiting areas, a nurse’s office, faculty workspaces, conference rooms and general classrooms, as well as a dedicated science classroom with its own workroom.
The new facility will offer outdoor learning environments, including an amphitheater, shaded seating areas and integrated planters that encourage collaboration and extend learning beyond the classroom.
