Nicolaus, CA: South Sutter Charter School is delighted to open their new 5,500 square foot learning resource center to serve parent choice charter school students in Northern California. The building operates as a library and resource material center, as well as a staff development facility. Co-located on a site with Marcum-Illinois Union School, the new learning resource center also hosts South Sutter Charter School’s mobile science trailer.

Marcum-Illinois Union School District is the local educational agency (LEA) for South Sutter Charter School, which is managed by Innovative Education Management (IEM). South Sutter Charter School was sanctioned as an independent charter school in 2005 by the California Department of Education. The school serves students in Butte, Colusa, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties.
