Montara, CA—On Friday, September 19th, Farallone View Elementary School celebrated the ribbon cutting for the second phase of its modernization project, marking another important milestone for the Cabrillo Unified School District, as well as the Montara and Half Moon Bay communities.

Phase 2 focused on modernizing Building B, which houses the multipurpose and upper grade classrooms, along with the central courtyard. Updates prioritized enhanced food service, flexible learning spaces and creating seamless connections between indoor and outdoor environments supporting both student engagement and campus functionality.

This latest phase builds on Phase 1, which updated Building A, including the administration and primary grade classrooms, parking, drop-off and an entry feature, with a focus on safety, security and modernization of interior and exterior spaces.

The ribbon cutting brought together Cabrillo USD leaders, staff, students and community members to celebrate the improvements, reflecting a shared commitment to creating a safe, inspiring and modern learning environment. These updates not only meet current educational needs but also lay the foundation for future growth and learning opportunities at Farallone View Elementary School.
