Congratulations to both Tony Pacheco-Taylor and Rachel Clemente on their accomplishments with the Coalition for Adequate School Housing’s (CASH) School Facilities Leadership Academy. Tony recently graduated with his fellow Cohort 11 members at the CASH Annual Conference on School Facilities in February 2022. He is staying involved with the program as a mentor to the incoming class. Meanwhile, Rachel was accepted as a member of Cohort 12 for the 2022-23 term.
The School Facilities Leadership Academy (SFLA) is a joint effort between CASH and the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team with the goal of developing leadership skills of its participants and advancing education in California. The SFLA is a year-long, intensive training program focused on the areas of school facilities planning, finance, maintenance, operations, construction and a variety of other topics. The cohorts are comprised of facilities practitioners, designers, builders and other industry professionals who are committed to delivering quality public education facilities.
With K-12 education being Studio W’s core market, we are grateful for the platform and endeavor to remain engaged with the program for many years to come.
