Sacramento, CA—We’re proud to announce that our Sacramento Studio will be moving to a new office! Studio W Architects and Brian Whitmore, President & CEO, recently purchased a commercial property located at 1930 H Street in the midtown district of Sacramento. Plans to transform the space into the new home of Studio W Sacramento are currently being reviewed by the City of Sacramento Planning Department. We expect to break ground in April of 2021, with plans to relocate and start operating from the new location in late 2021.
The single-story, 8,000 square foot building is located adjacent to the new AIA California office, providing a strong design synergy for our two practices. The renovated space will boast a contemporary workspace environment with a lobby/reception area off the H Street entrance, an open workstation area, private offices, conference/meeting rooms, a staff kitchen/lounge and a workroom with a library and showroom for materials and products. Exterior improvements include façade, lighting, landscaping and parking upgrades.
The midtown district of Sacramento has experienced a resurgence over the past decade. The bustling urban core features a mix of trendy eateries, nightlife, arts and culture, retail, workspace and residential. We look forward to being a part of the energy of the area!
