Sacramento and Newport Beach, CA—Studio W Architects is delighted to welcome Sofia Rehn as our new Marketing Coordinator in our Sacramento Studio and Ruben Alejandre as a Senior Job Captain in our Newport Beach Studio.
Sofia graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Graphic Information Technology in 2021 from Arizona State University and has since held multiple internships while transitioning her career as a Starbucks barista into a marketing professional. In her role as Marketing Coordinator, Sofia will bring a fresh look to Studio W’s online presence, focusing her time on the firm’s weekly social media and blog posts.
Ruben, a highly esteemed former colleague of current Studio W staff, has over a decade of industry experience working in all phases of design and construction, managing education and residential assisted living and memory care facilities. In his role as Senior Job Captain, Ruben will work directly with our project managers and architects on drawings and specifications during the design development and construction documents phases, and aid project managers in the construction administration phase. He is currently working on the Poway Unified School District Bernardo Heights Middle School Cooler Replacement project.
