San Jose, CA—Studio W Architects is is pleased to welcome Matthew Harris, AIA, to our San Jose Studio as Senior Architect. Harris is an award-winning designer with exceptional project management experience in education, commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare and mixed-use facilities.
In his role at Studio W Architects, Matthew is responsible for planning, coordinating and developing architectural projects, working closely with both clients and our project managers to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate projects. Matthew explores subject areas and develops design concepts to aide clients in defining and refining their project scope, budget and schedule.
Matthew possesses a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Ph.D. in Construction Management from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is a licensed architect in California and is a Certified Photovoltaic Systems Specialist from the Cleantech Institute at NASA Ames Research Center. He also holds an OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification.
