Keahi Arena joins Studio W Architects in our Newport Beach Studio as Senior Project Manager, as well as Alex Bool and Eli Dunbar joining as Project Manager and Senior Job Captain, respectively, in our Sacramento Studio.
Keahi is a licensed architect with more than 12 years of experience and an extensive background in construction methodologies. He has experience in a variety of markets and project types, including highly specialized, engineering-based projects, civic facilities, community centers, K-12 education and public works projects. In addition to his professional practice, he contributes to the industry as a Subject Matter Expert and Exam Development participant for the California Architects Board, supporting future architects in their path to licensure. As Senior Project Manager, Keahi leads projects from business development through successful completion, ensuring quality, efficiency and alignment with client goals.
Alex is a registered architect and project manager with over 19 years of experience. His expertise spans client relations, code compliance and construction administration, with a proven track record of guiding projects and clients from concept to close-out. Alex enjoys the challenge of discovering what clients truly need, listening closely to their goals and concerns, identifying underlying issues and developing thoughtful, practical solutions that support long-term project success. His ability to translate complex needs into clear direction has made him a trusted partner to clients and project teams alike.
Eli has been honing his craft for over a decade working on design development and construction documentation for K-12 education, higher education, civic and residential projects. He has played a pivotal role in the schematic and design development phases, as well as developing digital and physical models. His expertise extends to sourcing materials, furniture and specialty items, as well as cultivating strong relationships with vendors. In his role, Eli will support the coordination and planning of Studio W’s projects from early concept through construction.
