Studio W Architects has been selected for the City of Oroville’s Corporation Yard Multi-Building Remodel in collaboration with United Building Contractors, collectively as the design-build entity. This strategic redevelopment supports the City’s long-term infrastructure and operational goals.
The remodel includes the renovation and expansion of an existing 3,300 square foot building with a 1,400 square foot addition, elevating the facility’s functionality and flexibility. This enhanced layout will provide designated areas for training, laundry services, meetings and upgraded restrooms to better support daily operations.
Additionally, an existing metal warehouse structure on-site will be transformed to include office spaces, new partition walls and functional roll-up doors, improving accessibility and workflow. Comprehensive site work will address ADA upgrades, improve landscape, install new fencing and integrate concrete hardscape, ensuring the facility meets code and modern aesthetics.
The design approach focuses on unifying multiple structures into a single, cohesive facility that not only serves the current needs of the City’s Public Works Division but also provides capacity for future growth and development as Oroville continues to expand.
