Hayward, CA—Yesterday, the Studio W Architects team joined our partners, Robert A. Bothman Construction, Verde Design, Inc., JGM and CB Management Group, at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District to celebrate the groundbreaking of Chabot College’s football stadium and track complete renovation.
Funded through the Measure A Bond, this project marks a major transformation for Chabot College’s athletics facilities, generating exciting enhancements for athletes, fans and the community. The renovation includes a new synthetic turf field and a reconfigured track with updated jump event areas. The redesigned stadium will feature seating for 2,000 spectators with upgraded bleachers, accessible pathways and improved ticketing and restroom facilities. Additionally, energy-efficient lighting and enhanced sound systems will elevate the game-day experience while minimizing impacts on the surrounding neighborhood.
Once complete, the new football stadium and track will serve as a central gathering place for students, athletes and community members alike. The new design will foster school pride, encourage wellness and create lasting memories for generations to come.
