On June 4th, Brian Whitmore, Chelsea Pozar, Michael Henning, Mario Hernandez, Kristoffer Gulapa and Klaude Matias proudly joined Huntington Beach City School District, school staff, students and community members in celebrating the ribbon cutting for Phase 2 of the Sowers Middle School campus reconstruction.
Phase 2 of the project marked a significant milestone, introducing a brand-new gymnasium/multipurpose facility, modern locker rooms, outdoor play courts, an extended parking lot with improved drop-off zones and a secure, welcoming gated entry. These enhancements build on the improvements made during Phase 1, which included the addition of several AMS Gen 7 classroom buildings, a state-of-the-art STEM lab, a vibrant student union, a new administration and learning resource center.
