This morning, San Juan High School celebrated a major step forward with the groundbreaking for its new stadium. The event brought together district leaders, designers, building partners and community members to mark the beginning of an exciting transformation. Several Studio W Team members attended the ceremony to commemorate the start of construction.
This will be Studio W Architects’ eighth out of nine high school stadium gateway projects within the District, continuing our strong partnership with San Juan USD to enhance athletic facilities for students and the community. Our services include the design of a new concessions building, restroom facilities and a dedicated ticket booth, creating a more welcoming and functional experience for attendees.
Verde Design, Inc. is leading the design and development of the new sports field and track, which will round out the stadium improvements. Robert A. Bothman Construction is the general contractor with Sixth Dimension providing construction management services on behalf of the District. The full project is expected to be completed by May 2026.
We’re proud to be part of transforming the athletic environments across the District, and we look forward to seeing San Juan High School’s upgraded stadium come to life.
