Designed to support the evolving needs of students and educators, the new Liberty Elementary School Classroom Building in Petaluma, CA provides a dedicated learning environment for fifth and sixth grade students. The new classroom wing includes general classrooms, breakout learning spaces, restrooms and support areas.

Thoughtfully designed to enhance the student experience, each space features soaring ceilings, abundant natural light and exposed wood beams that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The building’s exterior complements the existing campus architecture, helping the new addition seamlessly integrate into the environment.

In addition to the indoor learning environments, a new courtyard provides opportunities for outdoor instruction, collaboration and student engagement. Thoughtful details throughout the project support students’ daily routines, including backpack hooks conveniently located outside each classroom to encourage organization and maximize usable learning space within the classrooms.
