Chico, CA—We are delighted to announce that we have been selected, alongside United Building Contractors, Inc., by Chico Unified School District for the Central Kitchen Expansion Project. This project will comprise of replacing the existing cooler and freezers within the bakery at Chico USD’s Corporation Yard, as well as a re-design of the exterior for the new condensers, electrical, concrete slab for delivery trucks and the west side parking lot and accessible route. The new cooler and freezer features entrances that can be easily reached from outside and within the bakery, horizontal sliding doors to maximize efficiency for deliveries and a new carport canopy with metal roofing, lighting and power at columns that was designed to support future solar panels.
Additionally, Studio W has been selected by the District as (1) of (4) firms to be pre-qualified for future work with the District. We look forward to this coveted responsibility with Chico USD in the future!
