Buena Park Middle School is ready for play on its new track and field! Studio W Architects recently celebrated the completion of the school’s new athletic facilities alongside students, Buena Park School District faculty and project partners.

The celebration included speeches from Principal Jay Beckelheimer, District Superintendent Julienne Lee and Board President Jerry Frutos, who shared their excitement for the new facilities and the Buena Park community. Students also had the opportunity to break in the new track with its very first run!

It was a great way to celebrate the completion of the project and, more importantly, witness the new facilities in use and enjoyed by the students they were designed for.

This project is one of three athletic improvements completed for Buena Park School District, including the design and implementation of new synthetic tracks and artificial turf fields at Pendleton Elementary, Beatty Middle and Buena Park Middle Schools. These new facilities provide safer, more durable and sustainable athletic surfaces for students to practice and compete on.

Thank you to Buena Park School District for continuing to partner with Studio W to create learning and athletic environments that support your students and community. We look forward to seeing the completed track and field facilities at Pendleton Elementary and Beatty Middle Schools!
