Studio W Architects celebrates Mark Manstof, Director of Facilities, Maintenance, Operations & Transportation at Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD), for his well-deserved recognition in Blueprint Magazine!  A true visionary, Mark plays a critical role behind the scenes, ensuring that HBCSD’s learning environments are safe, well maintained and aligned with the District’s mission to foster student success.

Throughout the District’s ambitious plan to transform its campuses into 21st Century learning environments, Mark has been at the forefront, leading the operations team, managing the complexities of construction and championing a strategic, student-centered approach.

Studio W has had the privilege of partnering with Mark and HBCSD on the implementation of their Measure Q bond program, resulting in new construction projects and modernizations across the District. These efforts have positively impacted every school in the District, including:

A highlight of the feature is the recently completed Sowers Middle School Reconstruction, hailed as the crown jewel of HBCSD’s long-range facilities plan. Reflecting on the significance of this milestone, Studio W President, Chelsea Pozar shared,
