BCA Architects was awarded the North Natomas Community Center and Aquatics Complex (NNCCAC) project from the City of Sacramento. The new $24 million complex will feature a 10,600 square foot community center, a much-coveted 50-meter competition pool (Olympic regulation size), a 25-meter warm-up pool and a recreational pool with slides and play structures. These facilities will be developed over the next several years and will serve as an asset to the Natomas community as well as others throughout Northern and Central California.
BCA Architects completed the Feasibility Study, which was approved by the City Council in May of 2017, to appropriate funding to move forward with the project. Our work on this initial aspect of the project started three years ago in 2014. It’s very exciting to see the project come to fruition and we are honored to have been selected to continue as the architect.
