Welcome Craig D. Prestininzi and Mahdieh Nasiri as they join Studio W Architects as Senior Project Manager and Project Designer in our Newport Beach Studio, as well as Kim Nguyen, who is rejoining us in our San Jose Studio as an Accounting Assistant.
Craig grew up in San Diego, where building models and LEGO creations sparked an early passion for design. Encouraged by his parents to pair creativity with diligence, he developed a love for bringing ideas to life. Craig is inspired by understanding client goals, collaborating with engineers and consultants and shaping spaces where people live and work. As Senior Project Manager, he will oversee technical efforts, coordinate the preparation of construction documents and serve as a liaison with clients and consultants.
Mahdieh Nasiri is passionate about contributing fresh, creative ideas and collaborating on challenging projects that foster both learning and professional growth. Reflecting on her decision to join Studio W Architects, she shared, “Studio W is not just designing buildings; they are shaping possibility. By specializing in educational and public work, they craft environments where minds awaken, communities gather and individuals grow into their fullest selves.” As a Project Designer, Mahdieh prepares drawings, renderings and specifications, consults with manufacturers and clarifies information with sub-consultants.
Kim Nguyen brings a wealth of expertise to our accounting department, having earned her Master’s in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Jose State University. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in accounting. In her role as Accounting Assistant, Kim plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient completion of company-wide accounting objectives.
