What are your hidden talents?
I’ve become interested in Deaf Studies and am hoping to get proficient in American Sign Language. I will be finishing up an Associates Degree in Deaf Studies in a couple of years. In addition, I would like to get back into jumping and horseback riding, and I officiate at USA swim meets.
What are your words of wisdom?
“Everything is going to be alright.”
Who inspires you?
While working as an official at a Special Olympics Swim Meet, I could not help but be inspired by the resiliency, optimism and supportive nature of the participating athletes. The world could take a lesson from them.
