The Phase 2 projects at Winters High School further enhance and develop the academic, student-centered and athletic facilities at the site, the highlight of which are the new student union and new administration building. As the campus remains operational during construction, considerations for project prioritization, student safety and construction scheduling were carefully orchestrated by the Studio W Architects Team.

The first portion of Phase 2 included the final renovations of the athletics stadium, which was completed in 2019. In total, the complex received a new 6-lane synthetic track, new bleachers and new lighting. Additional scope of Phase 2 focused on converting and improving existing space, as well as developing new educational environments, such as a new classroom wing. Existing art labs were converted into a student union/cafeteria, which opened to students at the end of 2019. The cafeteria was demolished and was replaced with a new administration building that was completed in September of 2020.
