Athletics and football, in particular, are very popular in Tuolumne County, with parents, students and community members alike filling the stadiums on game days. The facilities at Summerville High School were renovated to provide enhanced amenities and spectator capacity.

Completed in March 2017, the stadium includes a new sports field (striped for football and lacrosse), new 400-meter track, home bleachers and press box, a concession building, new lighting and various site improvements. The stadium is the pride of the campus and the Summerville community.
