Half Moon Bay, CA—Studio W Architects is excited to begin working with Cabrillo Unified School District on the renovation of Farallone View Elementary School. Our team recently conducted conditions assessments of the campus and completed a site master plan for the overall modernization, which will be completed over three phases of development for a construction estimate of $20,706,000 (funded by Measure M).

The Phase 1 scope entails renovating the administration building to improve safety and security, reconfiguring the interior spaces, renovating six classrooms into next generation learning environments and improvements to the campus entry. Site improvements, including upgrades to parking, pick-up/drop-off areas and landscaping, as well as site-wide utility infrastructure and accessibility updates will also be accomplished in Phase 1. The construction estimate for Phase 1 is $6,871,000.

Improvements planned for Phase 2 include upgrades to the central quad, renovating the multipurpose building and additional classroom modernizations. Phase 3 encompasses a new learning resource center, new STEM/Maker’s labs, modernizing the existing library building, activating the east and west quad areas and ADA improvements to play areas. This third and final phase is planned to be complete in 2024.
